Building a home in the Philippines which is powered by solar power, has a 30m deep well, and rainwater collection system.
The water scares me to drink and I'm wondering the best way to purify it.
My first thought is boiling it or at least heating it
But also thinking ozone, activated carbon, sand filtration, UV light, etc, etc.
Water is being kept in a cistern and still working out all the plumbing...
Any ideas would be appreciated
kamusta? have your water sample check by a lab first, then decide on what purification system needed. Who knows you might not need those power consuming apparatus.
If you do need one, i can refer you a water mineral pot (water purifier -gravity type -and making it alkaline for good health)

By pulling moisture out of the atmosphere, the DH9 is said to eliminate virtually all contaminants that might otherwise occur in groundwater. The device then further purifies the water to eliminate 99.99% of contaminants. There’s an electrostatic air filter to remove small airborne particles like pollen and dust, a germicidal uV light that destroys bacteria and other microorganisms, a coconut hull filter that eliminates heavy metals, chlorine residuals and mineral salts, and a reverse osmosis (RO) filter to remove any remaining pathogens or fine particles. Unlike other RO filters, where the wastewater is then flushed (so that the user drinks one purified gallon for each six to ten that are wasted), the DH9’s revolutionary RO filter reprocesses it so that no water is lost. A gravity-fed storage tank holds 6.5 gallons that would be accessible even in the event of...

Everyone worries that our drinking water is not as clean as we think it is. So many toxins may be present which can injure our health.
We are mainly made of water and if we drink toxins in our drinking water we store them in our body. It's obviously very necessary to make sure our drinking water is free from toxins.
From all this its pretty obvious why many families are fitting filtration systems to their homes. Unfortunately in their rush to fit a system they dont look into the type they really need to fit, to ensure pure natural water and they often end up with an inferior product.
Let's have a look at the ones to avoid: Reverse Osmosis Systems - these are a real no no - they were never designed to be used for drinking water but were first used in the paper industry which needs de-mineralized water. they are also twice as expensive as other systems, they strip...
